Independence Art Studios has been the location for weddings, art openings, poetry readings, wakes, film screenings, concerts, TV commercials, TV shows, photo shoots, giant see-saw assembly efforts, and who knows how many parties with dozens and dozens of guests. Event organizers are drawn to the funkiness, diversity of spaces, ability to be indoors or out, available parking, and our general flexibility with these kinds of things.

Friends have discovered that Thedra might have missed her calling to be a florist. She has done flowers for several weddings and parties, here and elsewhere.
